Henco Industries in Herentals (Antwerp) is a major European producer of extremely high quality pipes, fittings and accessories. Henco's products, intended for heating, gas and sanitary installations, are used in housing construction and the utilities sector. Henco also offers a wide product range for underfloor heating installations.
With its 300 employees, Henco achieves annual, global sales of over 130 million metres of pipes and 11 million fittings. Their outstanding quality is guaranteed in the factory by a fine-tuned development and production process. In order to flexibly meet market demands, Henco has modern production lines and warehouses that are continuously being expanded.

Responsibilities

  • 65% of your time is devoted to the active technical field support of installers and dealers, and the recruitment of installers (sanitary, heating and gas) in collaboration with Henco’s local dealers and/or their agents. You ensure the development of sustainable cooperation;
  • 10% of your time is devoted to project work (architects, consultancies, housing corporations, etc.). You are expected to demonstrate an active and creative approach to support the local dealers and their agents. You develop a network to draw attention to Henco as a partner;
  • 10% of your time is devoted to managing existing customers. You place emphasis on the latest developments, and develop commercial activities to increase Henco’s turnover;
  • 15% of your time is devoted to the active prospection of new dealers and setting up a business development program with them, whether or not supported by the local Henco agent. You ensure the development of a sustainable cooperation;
  • You effect geographic development and spread risks by constant evaluation, increasing your turnover, and increasing the number of users;
  • You regularly analyse market developments and sales activities and report to the Regional Sales Director.

Profile

  • Minimum Bachelor level
  • Experience in the HVAC sector and a technical mindset is an absolute must
  • Focus on 80% travel, of which 90% in Spain and Portugal; a ‘local’ who is highly familiar with the market but resident in Belgium, to strengthen ties with HQ and align requirements with production in BE
